I have used view regions for a lot of things but this one has me baffled.

I have a split stair - it goes up with one wide stair to an intermittent landing and then splits off to both sides. Main stair goes to a landing level - complete with level line and plan view. The two sides go from stair landing level to second floor.

I cannot see the upper stairs in the first floor but I can in the second floor. I create a view region in the first floor plan and it does not matter what I set the view to I CANNOT see those stairs.

I have checked for objects turned off in that view. I have set the view to be related to the stair landing level, first and second levels. No dice.

Any ideas????

Donnia,
be sure your plan region takes in the entire stair footprint. If only a portion of the stair is involved then the stair will revert to the default cut plane of the view. All or nothing baby;)

But of course you are right.
The guy working on that project told me the stairs fit in the area matching the curtain walls below - they missed by 1/4" on each side. So my plan region that fit the floor cut out based on the curtain walls did not fit!

You win!

Thanks as always dear.
Donnia

ps when are you going to change your forum name here? I still remember what you told me on the shuttle to the airport last year. LOL You could add it to your name you know.
