Revit Server - Max Central Model Size

Does anyone know if there exists a maximum (either official or otherwise) size for central model size which Revit Server Administrator 2012 operates with? There has apparently been mention of 300Mb threshold, over which you may experience problems.

Does anyone know if there exists a maximum (either official or otherwise) size for central model size which Revit Server Administrator 2012 operates with? There has apparently been mention of 300Mb threshold, over which you may experience problems.

We have had Revit models in excess of 600 mb in size; however users report performance issues when the model exceeds 300 mb. However, we found that re-creating the models on Revit Server can reduce a file size from 500 mb down to 300 mb. Some project teams in excess of ten designers will re-create the models every 1-2 weeks to keep the file size down.
