All my settings seem to be correct > Model Site>Site- Earth material > -10' poche base and the earth material has the correct cut pattern of Earth yet I can't get the Poche to show up in any elevation. Frustrated!

Go to a plan view where your elevation marker is visible and check the location of your elevation marker cut plane. It needs to cut the top for the poche to show up.

Here is a quick picture of the problem. You can see the foundation wall but not the Earth fill. So, it is obviously seeing below ground level, just that the Earth fill doesn't show up. Thanks Dimitri, for the quick response.

Here are two shots of an elevation. On a project I have been working on I quickly threw in a topo and everything works fine. The one on the left is a test, where nothing shows up. The settings are the same as far as the site and VV as well as clipping planes in the view. I'm baffled.

After getting back to the problem, I have found the solution. It has to do with the View Range in Elevation. In the first picture you can see the View Range of the South Elevation. To get there click on the Elevation Triangle and a solid blue line appears. To get what I have go to extents in the Properties and and change the "No Clip" to "Clip with Line", then you will see the far clip in dashed line. You need to do this for each elevation and I find it best to do this in Site since the Topo is already visible.
Now move the solid blue line INTO the topo. If you do not it will not cut. This sort of baffles me, as I am able to see building elements without have the Solid blue line within the topo. This was the part that threw me off since the view range covered both. It works fine now but I would still like to see an explanation why this is so. The other pic show what I was after.
Dimitri's explanation was absolutely correct about the "cutting Topo" but I thought it would do so with the range both before and after the topo. Apparently not.

The solid line is actually a 'cut' plane for the topo not the 'front' of the view depth and the dashed line is the view depth. Anything beyond that dashed line won't be visible. Sorry it wasn't clear Thomas.

Thanks for the further comment Dimitri! That helps.
