View Templates for links in Schedules

[Simple Design Sense]

I have an Urban Planning project that is being setup by linking in a project that has masses in design options in order to place them on the parcels in the overall site file. This allows a wide array of options to be configures rather easily.
Once this is configured in one view the settings are saved by creating a view template then applying them to other views in the site file.
Once I choose show linked items in the schedule I can now access settings for the link overrides in the schedules visibility graphics.
Only problem is schedule view templates do not include links.


Any thoughts... am I missing something, is this just not available?
Is there a better way to avoid this?
Does anyone know if there is a good work around to configure multiple link setting overrides in a schedule similar to the result of using view templates?


I have a feeling Autodesk just didn't go the last step...
