In this file, I highlight this beam W12X16 (IN BLUE). In this section, it's shown as single line. Is there a way I can make it shown as a beam that has the depth instead of just a line?

Check the detail level of your view. Most of the standard Revit content for steel shows only the analytical line at Coarse detail level. Change to medium or fine level of detail.
