View range problem

I have an element that wont show up between certain cut plane elevations. The column is continuous down to the footing. But if I set the cut plane between 1'-4" and 1'-1" (anywhere in the slab on grade) the column disappears. Why could this be? Thanks.

That's weird. Try cutting the column out of the model and re-pasting it back in to give the database a wakeup call. If that doesn't work try deleting it and recreating from scratch.
