Crop linked rvt file

Hi all,

I have a structural model linked into my main architectural model. In a couple of views I need to see only a specific element (in this case a trellis feature) without showing all of the rest of the structural elements.

I'm looking for something like the section box that applies only to the specific linked file. In old CAD terminology I want to xclip it. So far the only things I've found on the forums have to do with cropping linked CAD files, not revit links.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

You might be able to do it by setting up views in the linked model that display as you intend and then setting the views in the host model to reference them. Might work. Otherwise no.
