I am sure this is easy, but what used to work in 2011, is now not working in 2012. How do I get the demo plan in Revit to export with hidden lines to showing up in Autocad.

When I check the properties in Autocad it says the wall is hidden lines/dashed, but visibly it is a continuous line.

What am I missing in the new export settings?

Update: it shows correctly in Paper space, but not model space, although the dash is larger and the doors don't reflect the demo/hidden line.

It could be an Autocad thing, not a Revit thing. Have you checked your line type scale (lts) and/or all the other related settings? There are so many. Personally, from a new Revit export to DWG, I leave all settings the same and just change the "cannoscale" setting to equal the scale of the drawing. Don't forget to regen, too.

yeah I can change the LTS in AutoCAD, but this step was not necessary in 2011.

I fear our Revit users will forget to change the LTS in AutoCAD every time they export.

I think you are after this option and the PSLTSCALE setting of 0
