I'd love to be able to lock the position of the view title. That way I can move the viewport around and the title stays put. I've got a UDS/NCS grid going on and each time the view boundary changes I've got to go back through and cleanup view titles. Happy to provide an example.

Good one, Steve. I brought this up at the last Customer Advisory Mtg. Those of us that follow UDS and are using a grid would definitely benefit from this type of improvement. At the meeting, we actually spoke of having some sort of temporary grid available in each view that correlates to a grid on the sheet. Let's see what develops.

Don't know it but anything to tidy up the title block control would be welcome.

Acronyms abound...

NCS/UDS = National Cadd Standard / Uniform Drawing System

An attempt to codify drawing standards...here in USA

I think I've got that right?

You are CORRECT sir!!

The UDS is actually rolled-up into the National CAD Standard. It's quite a thick binder!

So thick, in fact, that it's actually 2 binders!

I understand that the 3rd edition is due to come out soon.

Of course, we don't have to worry too much about CAD Layer Guidelines, do we? 8)

Bump!

Back to the top of the wishlist! I'm tired of getting my view title where I want it, then having to reposition the view, and then title moves with it! We need to be able to 'pin' the view title so it stays put!

If I had a nickle for every wish I made over a year ago that is still outstanding...well, maybe I could buy a Coke or something...
But then, it's only been a year...what am I complaining about?

My guess...too late for 8 unless they've filled the wish already. Which means whining here today has done us NO good!! :twisted:
