Problem in attaching Column to Beam soffit

Hi,
I think this won’t be a new problem, but I cannot find any threads providing me
useful solutions.

Why Revit doesn’t allow me to attach to column to the beam soffit ? I have tried unjoin the beam and column
but still not works.

Only if I extend the beam end to make it pass through the column top, "Attach" is okay, but this is not a common case.

Any directions that would help please point me to.

I have tried this and attached column to beam bottom. It works nicely. See attched images.
The only thing is it gives error of "Column and target are both concrete. Geometries have been joined".

However, I see that in your case, the beam is single, passing through
the column top, but what's in my problem is that I have two different
sizes of beams on both sides of the column, could you tried this approach ?

Thanks again for your trial.

I think I have grasped the skill, it does require to
unjoin the column and beams and do some adjustments of
the beam to make it cover the whole column before gaining success
in attaching to bottom soffit, then it wil be another adjusting of beam
to make it looks perfect.
