Moving linked model onto new workset

Can an existing "large" linked Revit model, be transfered or moved onto a new workset?

Yes.

As I recall--

Select the Linked model from inside your Host Project, and under Properties, select Workset, and select the new workset you wish to place it on.

Make sure to right click when selecting the Linked file and check"make element editable" and/or
"make worksets editable".

When is important that the Type Workset is set correctly? As far as I can see if each instance is set correctly it makes no difference where the Type is. Or is this to do with which Worksets you open when loading the project?
