Please help clear project base points

This was a concept I thought I had down fairly well. Then come along a project that goes againt the grain of what I thought I knew. Attached is a picture of and arch model and (3) differnet disciplines. #1 is elec, #2 is mech, #3 is fire and #4 is the arch. Why when I create my central and bring all the models in origin to origin do they appear to link in perfectly. Yet when I go into them seperately do they appear to be so differnt wit the exception of #3 and #4? Cam anyone explain, please?! Thanks.

Did you set the Shared Coordinates?

Usually I would place Spot Coordinate tags on each model's Project & Base to compare and show clearly any discrepancies.
