Sorry - rudimentary question:
I have window tags in plan but somehow not elevation - except when I copy an existing window while in elevation view, the copy displays the correct window type-tag. In "Visibility Graphics", under "Annotation Categories" the Windows Tags box is checked (for the elevation view), and Reveal Hidden Elements does not reveal any window tags in elevation. Is there an obvious solution to this? Thanks very much

When you place an object in Revit that supports tagging, the tag will show up in the view the object was created in (if the "Tag on Placement" option is ticked on your options bar.)

In your example, because you placed the windows in plan first, this is where they will be tagged. Tagging objects in the other views (i.e. elevations) will need to be done manually.

When you copied your window in elevation, Revit sees this as a new instance of the window being created in elevation; therefore the tagging applies.

Hope this helps.
