I am working on a family with nested voids where I need to control the visibility of the nested voids. I have tried to control the voids by controling the depth that they cut the host, but it is not possible to have the void that does not cut the host at all. I have also tried to control them with visibility parameters since there are also some solid objects in the family. In this case the solid elements are not visible, but the void remains. I am trying to have both an array of the nested voids and a single void when there is only one object. Any ideas on how to control whether a nested void cuts or not?

Here is a solution I found.
just make another tiny little void somewhere in the family.

Thanks for responding to my old thread. It is a pretty sneaky idea to embed an extra void in the host to allow for the void to cut even when not embedded. I guess I am too much of a purest to work that way so I'll need to continue my quest for a good solution that I can live with. Thanks for your help.
