Summary: Content Center advanced Editing.

Description: Would like to see the ability to rename custom category folders after they have been created, and / or move them to a new location along with all of thier families. Also would like the ability to move familes from one category folder to another. Simple typos in cat. folders cannot even be corrected. A new folder needs to be created, and any families in it, republished.... losing any changes made to the family table.

Also would like to have some way of copying and pasting custom Family Center columns from one family to another, including all properties and mappings, rather than having to create them one at a time.

I'm just getting started with trying to copy and customize parts from the read-only Content Center libraries into Vault libraries, and am getting more frustrated with each day. I don't know if I've ever seen a more idiotic and un-intuitive system for creating parts libraries. A major irritation is: Copy a single part and it jams the original part's library folder structure down your throat. You can change every bit of data related to the part once it's copied, *except* the original folder structure??? It's like copying a file from a CD to your hard drive and being forced to keep the copied file in the same chain of folders it was in on the CD. Considering the number of mistakes our company is finding in the parts libraries (pipe reducing fittings that only indicate the size of the large end, for example) I may have to remake a lot of parts from scratch to fix them and get them organized in a logical way. I'm not happy with Autodesk.
