roof cut visability

Trying to get my roof to show in plan view on a framing plan. It is cut off about 4' about above the bearing. Have the top of my view range 15' higher. Tried to edit the cut view of the roof itself and that doesnt change anything. I thought I remember a thread on this but I am unable to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you trying to get your roof plan to show up on a framing plan for the floor below, or for the roof framing plan?
You should probably be having your cut plane be above the highest point on the roof.

just trying to get the roof outline to show up on my framing plans. I know that there is a way to do it I just cant remember how. I thought that you were able to select the roof and manually change the cutplane but that is not changing.

Try using an Underlay of the Roof Plan, in your Framing Plan view.
