I'm new, so be gentle. I've for the beams/columns/connections modeled and need to start placing everything on sheets to send to the steel fabricator. I'm looking to separate each piece out. How do I do this?

Thanks

I tried to post a link in this reply, but was unsuccessful. If you go to au.autodesk.com>online classes>search classes(narrow by software<autocad structural detailing>) there is a power point presentation you can download that has been very helpful in my learning of ASD2012. Hope this helps

If you just want to print with "Automatic drawings", there is an option at:

Automatic printouts -> Formats and scales
There you can choose to print Single Profiles under Part Type
Under Arange views -> Mode - choose Single position.

lucis29, I believe you!

To rephase; Where is the procedure to use to make "non-automatic" drawings? Is it shown in the ASD manual? If it is not, will you write a outline procedure?

thanks
