Create Outline

I am looking for a lisp that create Polyline Object of a selected group of objects, polylines or blocks. I have found the thread that shows the ECO.lsp and it works good, only if the outline ever becomes exploded there would be a myriad of little line segments that would increase the file size tremendously also with myriad of line segments changing the Polyline object's line type to anything but continuous will have no effect.

Is there a lisp or command that I have missed that will simply outline a selected group in a polyline object with the least amount of segments.

If you have Land Desktop or Civil 3D, you can use LineWorkShrinkWrap.

I just tried OVERKILL after I used the ECO.lsp; at first glance it appears to form a number of alternative polyline objects. What options should I use select to combine all the fragments as well as maintain its original shape? Please advise.
