Dimension and Text Families not-visible in the Project Browser

Hello,

I have been struggling for some time trying to locate dimension families and text families in the model. I am not able to find them under the Families section of the Project Browser, eventhough they are there when I create/modift a text or dimension in the model.

I wonder if this is a general problem with 2012? If so how can I access the dimension and text families loaded in a Revit model?

Any further insight into the issue is appreciated.

Dimensions and Text are "view specific"--and they are not "families" which appear in the Project Browser.

You can find settings for Dimension Styles under the Annotation Tab.

Text is also an Annotation category, and it uses Truue Type Fonts located in C:\Windows|Fonts.

Like Cliff says - all those changes have to be done through the "Type Properties" of those annotation styles.

How do you change the text colour and line type of the text only. As in the dimensions property box it only seems to allow the line weight of the dim to be changed.

There's not an option to change the text color separate from the dim line color. And there's no linetype for text either.
