Was it created from a "Shared Parameter"? You will not be able to rename it if so.

Is the motivation to rename prompted by what you see in a schedule? You can just rename the header value and leave the parameter alone.
If the parameter name is actually misspelled and you want to fix it, if it is a shared parameter (as Gabe wrote) you won't be able to without doing away with the wrong one and creating a new one, correctly spelled and then fill in all the information that you lost doing away with the wrong one.

You "Should" be able to do it just as Cliff shows - unless it was created from a shared parameter.

No it's greyed out itmust be a shared parameter, do I have to export the parameter and add it in again ?

Yes, I think you will need to recreate the parameter in order to rename it. However, if that shared parameter exists in any of your loadable families - you would have to replace it in those as well - so they're all reading from the same shared parameter.
