I am trying to create vertical and horizontal 3/4" control joints in a 30'-0" tall EIFS wall. My approach is to have a semicircular profile shape as the reveal. I can place either the vertical or the horizontal reveal with no issues. As soon as I attempt to intersect two reveals, I get an error message saying that Revit cannot create the reveal, failed to cut wall. Any thoughts on why this could be occuring? I have other reveals (EIFS aesthetic joints) that can be created vertical and horizontally with no trouble. But a simple 3/4" control joint does not seem to work.
