Civil 3D 11 structure connection point

Hey guys, I'm having problems with the connection point of my end section and pipe. In a perfect world the pipe should be flush with the pipe invert but in the profile view civil 3d isn't allowing me to move the end section independently from the pipe.

two possible solutions
one disconnect that end section from the pipe network (I know already...)
edit the part properties in part builder for that parameter that is causing the section to drop...
you might be able to edit that drop in the part as well without needing to edit the part.
