Which is a better solution in terms of not losing any of the geometry of the model from Tekla to Revit?

Directly export Tekla file to Revit file using the "Export to Revit" application inside Tekla software?
Or directly export Tekla file to IFC file format?

We have great success using the Export to Revit tool that Tekla has within their software. We require this file format from our steel subcontractors and the geometry imports much more accurately into Revit. The .ifc files that Tekla natively saves or exports without this tool typically import with errors and less accurate geometry.

I do have one question for any using .ifc files from Tekla to Revit. What is the limit of the file size / model from Tekla? We have a Tekla .ifc export for Revit that started at 45MB and as the detail has increased it is now 109MB. This seems to be the limit for Revit v2013 to convert into an .rvt file. v2012 will open and convert the .ifc to Revit but it takes 25 minutes to complete.
