Greetings,
I am modeling an existing building and I wanted to use a photo I took of the vertical metal siding as a material for the exterior finish of my model wall. I brought the photo into Photoshop and cropped it down to what I wanted of the vertical metal siding pattern. I then duplicated a siding material in revit and added the cropped photo as a custom image to the Relief Pattern pulldown under the Appearance tab in the Materials dialog box.
I had to tweak the image a little in Revit to get it to show correctly on the wall I happened to be near in my 3D view, but once it showed up right I thought I was good. I then panned to another area of the building that has the same exterior finish material as the wall I previously changed and found that my image was not showing up on these other walls even though as I said they have the exact same exterior finish material. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks!
