Zero depth section

I want to be able to create a section with zero depth, a slice. I know I can get pretty close by slicing the scope box, but is there another way? Thanks.

I think the closest you can get is to set your view depth (Far Clip Offset in a section view) to 'virtually' zero. A quick test showed you can get it down as low as 0.1 mm. Why do you need a slice vs a section view.

For sections through sloping members and roofs. I can get mine down to 3/256", good enough, thanks.
