Floors with grips

I have 2 floors of the same type. Grips appear on one of them when selected and the Shape Editing panel opens up. Why is this? Were they created differently? Thanks.

We were wondering about that, too. Finally figured out that since the Edit Boundary and Modify Sub Elements command icons are right next to each other, somebody had accidentally clicked the latter. Once the Sub Elements are enabled, you can select the floor and choose Reset Shape to get it back to the usual.
