Hi,

Though a bit late, I have recently switched to AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 from the 2010 version, and this is when I found out that with any file, when I select any block containing attributes, they won’t show on the Properties palette (they used to show in 2010)
All the attributes are set to be visible & not constant, ATTDISP is Normal – setting it to ON doesn’t help.
Switching the profiles didn’t help too.

Of course I have searched the forum and there was an older – unanswered - post for the same problem (under same title) and inside this post, it referred to a further older unanswered post.

I hope this post will have better luck than the others.

Thanks,

Any object data tables in the dwg? Any data links to data sources?

Yes, PICKFIRST is set to 1.
As for the data links, this issue happens with any DWG regardless.

Thanks,

Are you talking about the True Properties palette, or Quick Properties? QP can be modified to only show a few things, or show everything, based on your configuration of it. When we switched from AutoCAD to Mechanical, the default QP list of things shown was so much shorter I had trouble locating the dialog on screen.

I asked a similar question a while back, and finally got this response. (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?97997-Properties-palette-doesn-t-show-block-attributes&p=1164056&viewfull=1#post1164056)
It appears to be a bug. :?
