Hi there,
I'm currently modelling a bar and the bar top has me stumped. As the pictures below will illustrate i am trying to transition from one profile to another at the corner of the bar.

A swept blend seemed the obvious weapon of choice however when i attempted to employ this method, the resulting solid swings out in such a manner that the edge no longer remains tangent.

Just to be clear i am trying to achieve the transition in a smooth manner (tangent to tangent) to show clients a reasonably accurate perspective shot.

Your images aren't showing up for me... so as much as I'd like to help, I can't. :)

having the same issue, and have tried everything possible, seems as though autodesk has adopted the new moto "**** it, lets SHIP It" when it comes to certain things, like the new material editor and the fact that the swept blend only really works when your path is a straight line, I really wish that the guys that test REVIT were actually guys that USE it, and not some beginner that doesn't know anything about REVIT.

What they should do is model some actual real-world objects, like Toilets, Basins, Corner-baths,..... (And the old toilets, baths,..... not the new stuff which is just an extrusion/blend with a fillet applied)

Since this is your first post in this forum, welcome, but let me tell you that the forum works better if you ask a specific question, hopefully with an image that illustrates the current situation and the desired end result. Rants against Autodesk, Revit, or their programmers is not something that contributes here to anything. What is your question, again?
