We are trying to attached a wall to the underside of a curved stairs so that the face of the wall is align to the face of stringer. I was hoping to use the "attached to top" tool, but it didn't work. I thought about sketching the wall, but the stair is curved so it is probably difficult to do it accurately. What is the best way to draw this wall to the underside of the curved stairs?

Thank you all in advance for your comments.

Draw a reference plane at the underside of your stair (cut a section thru stair is probably the easiest way) and attach the wall to the ref plane. You may need to do this in segments with the curved stair.

I have been trying to do this as well. I have searched the forums and everything shown is so complicated, reference planes a with a void, for a newbie like myself. It seems like it would be one of these things that is already thought of.

A quick way is to just add the profile of the wall to the railing of the stair, then is will sweep perfectly, however it won't really be a wall and if you have something below it the wall will penetrate the floor, so you might not be happy with some of the results.
