The server (#3) where all of our projects were stored quit working today while people were still working in their local files. Our temporary server (#2) has a copy of everything from server #3 current as of yesterday. I have opened the central file on temp server #2 and resaved it as a central file, then tried to re-establish the link from my local file to the central file on temp server #2 (synchronize with central and repath to the new location). Unfortunately I receive an error that Revit cannot reconcile the differences in the files. Is there anyway to relink our local files to the central file on a new server or did all of us just lose a day's worth of work?
Thanks!

Sounds like the version of the project on server two is a bit older so the local files can't reconcile elements that may be borrowed in more than one file. Find out which one of you has the most up to date version of the project in their local file. Create a new central file from that. You will sacrifice some changes. It may be possible to use Copy to Clipboard and Paste to put some work into the project again. Paste from a local file that can't reconcile changes into a new local file from the new central file.

Thanks Steve! That's what I was afraid of.
