Sometimes plot 'current window' and 'Visible Portion...' are grayed out. Why is this? Thanks.

Do you have more than one view selected in your Project Browser before trying to Plot/print? Or, along similar lines, maybe you have a view in the Project Browser highlighted that is not your current view.
I never noticed it before you posted. Playing around, the plot window kind of gets "locked up" to look like the picture in your post. If you Double-click your current view, (or even another, singular view,) it should clear the issue.

Clarifying Leanne's comment - the focus of the cursor is tricky to follow sometimes. When the focus is in the Project browser, Revit thinks you're trying to print the project browser as the current window.

When I get this, I close the print dialogue, click on a titlebox, then go back to the print dialogue. Bit of a pain, but it doesn't take long.
