View Full Version : Adding Blank Lines Between Schedule Categories?

Good Afternoon. I'm revising the material takeoff schedule in my project, and i'm having some trouble formatting it correctly. What i'd like is for each category to be clustered, with a blank line dividing each category
Like this:

Carpet:
c-01
c-0285015

Metal:
m-01
m-02

Wood:
wd-01
wd-02

You'll have to make sure that there is a parameter to control the Material Group (which can be added in the Fields tab of the schedule dialog box). Then, assign a value to the Material Group parameter for each material (i.e. Metal, Wood, etc., whatever you want your headers to be). Then, in the Sorting/Grouping tab, select the Material Group as the primary sorting parameter, check the boxes for Header and Blank Row, and you should be good to go.
