Sample Additional Surfaces - Surface Not Showing

I have copied a surface that was created from a corridor and pasted a detention pond surface to the new copied surface. This new combined surface I would like to have appear in the section view group. I selected 'Sample more sources' from the 'Sample Line Group Properties' but the new surface does not appear in the list of surfaces to be selected. Please Help! Thanks

Two options
Close and Reopen the file and see if the surface appears.
Or go to both the Drawing name and Rt-Click and select REFRESH
and do this also at the surfaces collecton in the Prospector tab of the toolspace.

also verify that that surface is still being built by the corridor; sometimes users forget and toggle a surface or the corridor creating it OFF
and then it soen't show up where they expect it to.
