Hello,
can anyone please advise if I can use an easier / better method to achieve the same result as per the jpegs attached ?

I want to have the look on the cladding and exterior joinery shown in the west elevation callout, while maintaining the flexibility of having the power to copy / paste and alter Instances for other parts of the project.

I have cut the cladding layer with an extrusion void, then made an extruded frame to the perimeter and will follow with an extruded infill of Alucapanel + drainage channels, flashings etc.

Is there a better way to do this ?
Since you can't use a window or door due to the action cutting an opening right through the host wall, I figured my method works OK but might be cumbersome ?
Any help appreciated, thanks

A. Windows and doors don't need to cut full depth. Use a void instead of an opening.
B. Try to not use in-place families if possible - they really slow things down.
C. See attched.
