Revit opens in a web browser

When opening Revit Architecture 2011 x64, a dialog from my web browser opens asking if I want to download the index.html file from the temp folder where revit saves the recent file information, then opens the recent file page in the web browser.

any suggestions?

Try this:

Find a .rvt file in one of your folders. Highlight it, and see if "Opens with" is set to Internet Explorer instead of Revit. If so, change it to the Revit .exe file.

Other than that, I can't recall the answer--but I thought I did see another thread about this on this forum or another Revit Froum--so try doing a Google search.
