I wanted to post this on the Wish List but can't select a product (Revit) to continue with my request so I hope that this will get forwarded.

The reason I am submitting this is because the the original post has been closed and labeled as "Granted." Not true! That is not the case and the issue still persists. The issue is to be able to drag views onto another monitor. Not just dialog boxes, which can be, but views, like you can in Photoshop. Not having to stretch your work environment to two monitors but to independently drag the views out of a work space that resides on a single monitor. Again, Photoshop has has this for years AND it has been requested here for years.

I work with multiple monitors (4) and would like to have my primary view in front of me with reference views on other monitors so that I don't have to keep jockeying views around like cards in Three Card Monty. It seems that if Photoshop can do it, Revit can. After this is done, work on Site Tools.

The only way to accomplish this, currently, is to un-maximize Revit and stretch the Revit application across all the monitors you're looking to utilize, then you can have your views within the application screen across those monitors.

I realize that but my primary monitor is to the right which leaves all your tools on the left. Photoshop has it exactly right, keep your program docked wherever you want and drag view to any screen. This cannot be that hard to accomplish.

You would think the same thing about a text editor as well, but you see how much they've improved that or the last 6yrs.

Both of these could probably be fixed with next update as well as some stability problems. When I saw the "Granted and Closed" in the Wish List I realized they had neither recognized the issue that has been brought up for years or just figured, "Good Enough."

Word can do it, Excel cannot. Go figure.......

I just resubmitted this request to the Wish List. The reason I was not able to before was the Wish List asked to select a program (Revit), and I had not indicated which programs I used in my Membership Detail Form. There is a link to do so in the Wish List. I hope this helps any would have overlooked this step AND they act on the Wish.
