Is there a way of xrefing (importing) ASD Model into ACA. The beams etc. come in as bounding boxes.

You can export the model to ACAD and then xref it. It depends what model you use. (3D ASD Steel, 2D ASD Reinf).

Depending on what you need, you can also export from Revit and have it create ACA objects.

You can export layouts. In Object Inspector-> Printouts right click on a printout and Save Drawing. It will export to ACAD (the latest version). If you need an earlier version, open it in ACAD and save it to (2010/2007/2004).

Yes you can. But it will be "dumb" (just some simple objects).

For ASD Steel you can export as ACIS Solid. (there is an option in Tools).

From ADSK Forum:

from HulelaG

"Procedure:

Go to tools on ASD, and select save as ACIS SOLID Model,
Give the file name you wish to save as,

Select Object you want exported to Solid CAD,

you can now open the drawing in AutoCAD.
should you wish to continue for Inventor and other Pack like Solid Edge,

Open the Drawin in AutoCAD and Zoom Extent."
