Hi everyone
I am an architect and linked mep to my revit file
we have "exhaust fans" and "Packaged Water Chillers"
now,I want to hide all "exhaust fan" in roof plan,
so
-if I unmark the mechanical equipment in V/G , all of them...hide
-I can not say to mep team to specify a workset for "exhaust fans"
-and it is impossible to select one by one with tab and hide them

Thanks to show me the best way:)

You will make a filter that uses that category and family name, then you can uncheck the visibilty.

That works for objects in linked files? Nice to know if it does. We've had a similar situation where our MEP engineer's thermostat family was set up as Mechanical Equipment, with a circle and "T" in it. The only way I could turn them off was to turn off Mech Equip but then that also turned off all their ground-mounted HVAC units and other things. I finally got them to update the family to have an annotation for the circle with T in it, so I could at least just turn off annotation in their link.
