Hello,

I have a question about exporting some views from Revit to Autocad. This is basically what I do:

- We have a project that consists of 1 structural file, which contains the beams, columns and all other stuff that is related to structure. We have 4 architectural files which consists of walls and floor finishing, doors etc. We have 1 facade file that has cladding and roofing for the exterior of the building. And the last file is the site file, which has the topography.

- We are linking to each file the other files. So if we are working in some part of the building we can see the rest of the building also from this files, but the links are only to control to see whats going on on the other parts of the building.

- We have also one additional file, that has all the links of the project. The structure, architectural elements, the finishes, facades, site etc. come in this big file together. We are using this file only for annotations and finalizing the plans, sections and some views of the project. So you cannot modify and part of physical modeling part of the project from this file.

- To exporting the views to seperate sheets of views, I have taken a ready file of AIA and modified it for our needs.

The question is:

I have seperated the floors into structural floors in the link file, and the architectural finishings int he other file. The layers of structural floor consists of only from structural layers. The finishings in the other file are consisting of substrate and finishing layers, there are no structural layers in this floor type.

I have adjusted the export txt file, and set the layers of finishings for cut view and projection view, but the exported layers come only in the general floor category layer. Can any one help me with that? Is there any other files of standart export txt files?

Thanks in advance.
