I am working on a project with a tower that slopes at about 14 degrees. I created a conceptual mass family and brought it into my project file. Attached walls to the sloping faces. Now I have a couple issues:
1. I have some stepped shafts cutting through a series of floors (see images). In the plan, you'll see all the lines in the shaft that show the entire sloped wall below with all its openings. Why? Is there some way to stop this behavior? My view range bottom and depth are set to the associated level with a 0.0 offset.
2. You'll see in the plan the window in the sloped wall. In order to get it to be a window with a perpendicular opening to the sloped wall, I created a face-based generic family and changed it's category to window. Works great to insert it, but as you can see, it does not get cut by the plan! Again, any way to change this behavior?
Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.
