Hi

We have just realised that the 'sun setting' seems have some error with respect to the shadow casting for the same geographical setting.
We tested for Sydney9Australia), Jan 1 - Dec 31 on revit 2012 and 2013, it appears ot have opposite sun settings. Please check the attached image for sydney, 1 year solar study 2013 on left and 2012 on right.

Can someone test and verify?

I think you should upload the two files. There might be other settings going on, that are not possible to detect by just looking at the images.

Is project and/or true north the same on each project? would it be possible that revit 2012 file has a "named sun setting" and then you upgraded it to Revit 2013 and its not recognizing it? You should be able to select it in the Sun Setting pre-sets.
Not 100% sure that is the issue though.
