Summary: You should be able to create your own categories for niche components.
Description: You should be able to create your own niche categories for components. Lumping all the grey areas into Generic Models has major drawbacks for scheduling, tagging, linking, etc etc etc!
Imagine being able to create a "signage" category, or a "restroom accessory" category, or any number of categories that relate to the type of architecture you do. This would allow you to control the graphical representation, scheduling, etc much more effectively than trying to hack it with worksets, filters or parameters.
As a simple implementation of this, custom categories could show up as subcategories of Generic Models, or a new Custom top-level category.
