Summary: Allow user to specify which side of member to keep when trimming.
Description: Currently, when trimming a frame meber to a face, Inventor automatically trims the shorter end of the member being trimmed, and keeps the longer section. This is not always what the user wants. The only way to remedy this currently, is to edit the sketch and move one of the bounding sketch lines, in order to make the "to be trimmed" piece longer than you actually want it.... return to the design, trim the parts (the longer edge now being the side you want to keep), and the returning again to the sketch to return the bounding dimensions to their original state. This adds un-necessary steps to the process. When trimming a frame member to a face, the user shoudl have the ability to select which side of the frame meber to keep, and which to remove.
