Im trying to get my piping system to show up in my architectural drawing. So far the only why I could find to do this is to change the disipline from architectural to plumbing, but this in turn then changes everything else to halftone. Anyway around this? I dont want to draw in all the pipes with detail lines either

In 2012 and older on the "Visibility Graphics" dialog box, make sure you check the box marked "show all disciplines". This give you access to all system categories. in 2013 change your "filter list" on the VG dialog box to include "piping". Is this what you're looking for?

Try changing your discipline to coordination. The down side to this is that all items will be dark.

We just use the "show all disciplines" in the "Visibility Graphics" dialog box, for our Architecture drawings,
but the problem we have is we need to set the view to "Fine" in order to show the pipe thicknesses.
This means everything else is shown at the "Fine" view setting.
Almost all our plans and sections are set to Fine.
(We want to see pipe thicknesses for 'visual' clash detection on all drawings issued.)
