Working in Revit 2012 with the goal to report cut/ fill via a graded/copied toposurface, I understand, that the program
permits the graded regions only in one toposurface i.e. automatically applies the existing pads of an existing toposurface
to the copied (next phase) surface as soon as the grading is invoked.
This ignores the existing pads and adds the existing cut to the newly graded toposurface which is of little practical use...
Is there a proper method to integrade contour changes which represent what a pad (vertically cut earth) achieves and have it
remain in the existing topo when the grading/ copying is used ?
Any ideas are very much appreciated.
