Duplicating Elevations

Yesterday when trying to drop an elevation on a second sheet [to show a separate discipline of work], the program notified me that a duplicate of the elevation was required for that action. Upon right clicking on the view's name, the duplicate and duplicate with detailing options were grayed out. Why does the program make this notification if the option is not available.

I had the same problem before and i can't make a copy of the elevation view what i did was to create another elevation view with the same viewpoint as the view that i want to copy then change the discipline at the property dialog box that way it works for me.

That is what I finally did, but it seems to be a round about method to a simple problem.

Yes, its definately something that the developers should be addressing.

You should be able to duplicate an elevation with or without detailing exactly as you can a plan.
