I am finding that when i batch export DWGs from my revit project, extra undesirable door swings are being added to my drawings. This is happening with multiple families. i'll add a picture to demonstrate the issue. has anybody else experienced this problem? how can i fix it?

They must be hidden in your door family somewhere. Are you using some kind of "all-in-one" family that can have both single door and double door types via nested families and yes/no parameters?

I initially suspected that somebody working on the project modified the door family. I opened it up and double checked the family. everything seems to be in order. this problem is occurring in a couple different component families in my project. I looked at the nested door swing, and it appears to be fine as well. peculiar problem.

Hi,
Is it possible for you to send me a rvt file that contains this particular door so that I can take a look at it?
Sincerely,

Is there yet any solution to this issue?
I´m having the same problem when exporting door families to dwg.
Even two instances of the same family and type of door are behaving differently, one of them exports properly, the other one with an extra swing.
Thank you.

I found the solution to my problem.
I was exporting to AutoCad 2000.
When exporting to the Autocad 2004 or later version, there is no problem with the family export. No double swing or extra doors.
Hope this helps.
