I have some structural elements, and am showing an section of the project. I want to show the walls and floor, etc. in course, so I change the view to course. Now I don't want to see the structural members as a "stick" so I override (in visibility) the structural members from "By View" to "Fine". The members remain as "Course" detail level.
Can somebody from the factory look into this, and if anybody else had this problem. I never tried this override before...
Thanks,
beegee

Luigi,
Open your beam family. Select the beam in an front / back elevation view, select the visibility button and tick the boxes for Coarse and Medium ( which are unticked ) Save and Exit and Reload and you should now see the correct display rather than the "stick" display.

Thanks Beegee for the reply, but does that mean that there is a problem with the override option in the view visibility for the Detail Level? I haven't experimented with other views or objects or projects...

There could be - a problem, but structural component families are strange animals and I usually don't try to mess too much with them, hence my " easy way out " response.

I thank you Beegee and I will look into that option to see if it works/not works with other objects...
