So I started a new project.
Inserted a large .tiff file on to a sheet.
When I open it back up, I get this message
(see attached)
Is this an error or do I need to place the image in a view first? Or are you not supposed to insert large image file directly onto sheets?
Thanks in advance.

Well as best as I can tell it seems to be a program flaw.
If I use a .jpg format it works just fine.
Note to self; Don't use .tif files in Revit.

Actually, I prefer .pngs
They tend to be a bit less fuzzy around the edges.

Well I guess that's my better question. What is the best format to use?
All I know is that it's not Tiff's. I tend to like tiff files better because that generally have better quality. But they screw up your revit files so.....

.tiff files are "lossless"--meaning high quality, but zero compression--and they ususally result in very large file sizes, and require a lot of RAM and perhaps graphics card memory for display purposes--so we tend to avoid using .tiff files, and use .png or .jpegs instead.
