I am trying to create a roof that is circular in plan but is also sloped at close to a 45 degree angle. I am having no trouble sloping the roof. The problem comes when I try to attach the circular wall to the roof, nothing happens. My professor suggested creating a mass model of the shape and that works until I make the sloped portion into glazing, which it is intended to be, the geometry explodes and the roof becomes flat. I would love to solve this problem any suggestion are welcome. 86354

No Mass Required...

First, Define Slope with the straight line of your roof, and make it negative.
Second, Make sure the roof's perimeter is to the outside of the walls
Third, Extend the curved walls beyond the top of the sloped roof
Finally, "Attach, Top/Base" of curved walls to the roof.

That should do it for ya.

Jeff thank you so much! That was such an easy solution that I just didn't even think of it. I had stared at that for hours thinking of everything possible and making sure it was snapped to the outside of the wall never came to my mind.

I guess I should have put that in bold text. You going to send that to a 3d printer at the end of the semester?

Cheers,
